Edward ‘Ted’ Wray McAdams, 67, passed away unexpectedly September 14, 2019. He was born to Virgil and Joyce (Brice-Nash) McAdams on April 18, 1952.
Ted attended and graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1970. He began working at Consolidated Manufacturing at age 16 and worked his way up to sales/truck driver in 1992. Ted transferred to AER where he retired as Regional Sales Manager after 42 years.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Trudy (Duran) McAdams; daughter, Laura Roberts; son, Cody (Bree) McAdams; stepson, Alex Trujillo; grandchildren, Ainsley, Jaidence, Colbi, Paxton, Colin; and sister, Terri McAdams.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Joyce.
Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2019, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4th Avenue, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 12 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to a local ‘no kill animal shelter’, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
