He was born August 20, 1948 in McGraws, West Virginia, the son of Herbert W. and Silvia P. (Duncan) Bailey. He married Vicki Leach in 1970. Glenn served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era doing two tours of active duty in country. He was a self employed truck driver after his military duty until his retirement.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Vicki (Leach) Bailey, cherished children daughter Tracey and her fiancé Mike Davis of Cleveland, a son Bryan and his wife Sarah Bailey of Shady Spring, WV ; also surviving are a brother Cecil Bailey of Cleveland, and a sister Cindy Woodson of Sabine, WV; nephews Ronald Leach and family of Marshallville and Timothy Leach and family of Wooster; 11 grandchildren, Jackie Bailey, Jeffrey Ohman, Mathew Ohman, Jason Ohman, Megan Feldes, Jordan Bailey, Jeremy Bailey, Jacob Bailey, Jaycee Bailey, Seth Bailey, Lukas Bailey, and Marshall Bailey and great granddaughter Makayla Racey.
He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert Bailey (Father), Silvia Duncan (Mother), a beloved son Glenn (Buddy) Bailey Jr., sisters Carol Bailey and Judy Williams and brothers Larry Bailey Sr. Estell (Chubb) Duncan and Carlos (Pip) Bailey Sr.
