BIVENS, STANLEY OWEN, age 54, of Madisonville, passed away Wednesday morning, August 12, 2015 at U.T. Medical Center. He owned Restang, LLC, an auto body shop in Madisonville, for 38 years. He was a member of Notchey Creek Baptist Church. Survivors: wife of 32 years, Patsy Jane Bivens; daughter, Lindsey Bivens and special friend, Hayden Henry; sons, Wesley Bivens and wife, Brittany,
Matthew Bivens and fiancée, Jenny Harrill; grandchildren, Connor Bivens, Brayden Bivens; sisters, Patricia Harris, all of Madisonville, Candy Estes, of Vonore; brother, Donald Bivens, of Madisonville; several nieces and nephews;
brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill and Sharon Akins, of Madisonville,
J.W. and Sue Coleman, of Tellico Plains, Danny and Linda Akins, of Jacksboro,
Charlotte Turner, of Madisonville. Preceded in death by parents, Cecil Everett and Kathleen Bright Bivens, brothers, Cecil Everett Bivens, Jr., Ronald Bivens, brother-in-law, Sam Turner. Funeral 8:00 p.m. Friday, Notchey Creek Baptist Church, Rev. Frank Hicks, Rev. Gale Miller officiating. Interment 12:00 p.m. Saturday, Hopewell Springs Cemetery. The funeral procession to the cemetery will leave from Notchey Creek Baptist Church 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Notchey Creek Baptist Church. Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
