She was born June 30, 1936 in Fulton County, the daughter of the late Mr. Paul Jack Williams and the late Mrs. Ethel Mary Williams.
She was known as “Granny” to everybody. She loved people, kids, fishing, cooking, but most of all she loved her family. She always saw the good in everyone. Mrs. Smith was a very faithful Evangelist wife.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Smith, Sr.
She is survived by her children, David Lamar and Angie Williams of Waco, Sherry Barkwell , Melissa and Ronald Tolbert, and Melinda and Jimmy Flores of Carrollton, William and Wanda Smith, Jr. of Bremen, Oscar and Christina Smith of Franklin, Billy and Christy Smith of Heflin, Alabama; two sisters and two brothers; extended generations.
The Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica . Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
