Patty was born in a house in the 200 block of East Dallas Street in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on Saturday, September 1, 1928. She was the daughter of Joseph and Crystal (Staten) Barnard. She died on Monday, September 16, 2019. She was 91 years of age.
Patty was a 1946 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. She attended Tulsa Business College and worked as the secretary for Broken Arrow Public Schools for 23 years. She married Joe Robinson in Columbus, Kansas on May 16, 1947. Patty enjoyed being a member of several clubs, including the Rose Garden Club, Tuesday Night Bridge Club, and the Embroidery Club which has been around since statehood. She loved crossword puzzles and games and was a master at cards and charades. She liked to go camping with friends. She enjoyed visiting Forest Ridge on Sunday mornings for breakfast. She could often be found perusing the sale racks and antique shopping. She was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 112 E. College St., Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
