Beverly J. Childers, 74, of Ritchey Road, Everett, PA; passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born on April 5, 1945 in Everett, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late Marshall Kenneth and Edna Mae (Snyder) Ritchey. On November 6, 1971 in Cumberland, Maryland she was united in marriage to Chester L. Childers.

Along with her husband of forty-six years, she is survived by children Kenneth A. May married to Janie (Wilt), Breezewood, PA; Valerie S. married to Robert Dicken, Everett, PA; Jennifer E. married to Robert Weaver, Breezewood, PA and Alisha D. Shaw and significant other Jordan Conner, Clearville, PA; sisters Sally “Nancy” Miller and Janice married to Kenneth Eichelberger; grandchildren Jessica Grove and Kyle May; Andrew, Matthew, Shaun and Kenneth Dicken; Amanda Russell, Brice, Devin and Erica Weaver, Dalton and Spencer Shaw; thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by siblings Eugene Ritchey, Marry Etta Newman and William “Bill” Ritchey.

Beverly was a member of the Breezewood Lighthouse Assembly of God.

She enjoyed playing with her dog “Chloe”, spending time on her front porch, watching Hallmark and old game shows and watching birds, her favorite being cardinals.

Beverly cherished time spent with children and grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Akers Funeral Home, Inc. 299 Raystown Road, Everett on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the church.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Breezewood Lighthouse Assembly of God with Rev. Jonathan Wyns and Rev. Tracey Wyns officiating.

Burial will be held in Everett Cemetery.
