Perry M. Mitchell, age 75, of Morris, Alabama passed away on Sunday September 15, 2019.

Perry was born February 7, 1944. Perry was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 plus years Carolyn Dean Mitchell (1945-2019), his loving son Jesse Paul Mitchell (1967-1978) and his devoted parents Annie Daisy Mccleskey Mitchell (1920-2017) and Aubrey Mitchell (1916-1988).

He leaves behind his loving daughter Amanda Mitchell, his sister Sandra (Jimmy) Pugh, his brother Jack (Madelyn) Mitchell and his precious grandson Jesse Paul Griffin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Perry was a member of Pinson Church of Christ and was an active member of the Magic City Gun Club and loved his role as mentor with the Junior Rifle Team "The Kats". Perry retired as a civil engineer where he had over 40 years of service in the industry.

A celebration of life for Perry will be held Friday, September 20, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A celebration of life service will occur Friday, September 20, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A burial will occur at Morris City Cemetery, Morris, Alabama 35116.
