He was a welder/heavy equipment mechanic for multiple companies, retiring in 2002. His job made is possible for David and his family to travel across the country meeting many new people and making lifelong friends. He was a member of Operating Engineer Local 513 and a member of Oran Baptist Church.
David is survived by his wife, Kathern; two sons, Chris Anthony of Oran and Patrick Anthony of Kansas City, Missouri; a daughter, Leslie Anthony of Kansas City; a brother, James Anthony of Jackson, Missouri; a sister, Carolyn Jett of Jackson and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
