Gary Lee Chandler, 72, of Pensacola passed away Sunday, September 15, 2015. Mr. Chandler was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio to Harry Lee Chandler and Monteen Renew Chandler. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and after his military service as a Field Radio Repairman he connected with Bell South AT&T where he retired with 30 years of service. Preceding Gary in death is his son, Matthew Chandler. Survivors include in wife of 50 years, Reta Chandler; two sons, Jeffrey Lee Chandler and Eric Eugene Chandler, Sr. (Tammy); grandson, Eric Eugene Chandler; two brothers, Charles “Happy” Chandler (Mel) and Joseph Luther Chandler (Pam); two sisters, Joyce Ann Peaden (Curtis) and Jerry Juanita Reed. A funeral service will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 10:30 AM with visitation for one hour prior the service. Burial will be in Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
