Died in the presence of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Tuesday, July 3, 2007 in Fremont, CA.
Born October 20, 1913, to Charles and Marie Boyd in Denver, Colorado. "Boots" graduated from Garfield High School, Los Angeles in 1930, married Frank J. Galantine in 1931.

She was preceded in death by her son Charles, husband Frank J., and son and daughter-in-law Frank B. and Rosalee Galantine, brother and sister-in-law Mark and Ida Boyd and their son Ed.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Mary Linda and Bob Wasserman of Fremont, daughter-in-law Frances Galantine of Gerber, "Second Daughter" Ernie Thompson of Gerber. Grandchildren Chuck Galantine (Carolyn) of Gerber, Clyde Galantine (Anne) of Santa Rosa, Christopher Galantine of Redding, Dan Wasserman (Wendee) of Scotts Valley, and Jill Fonte (Kirk) of Christiana, Tenn., five great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

"Boots" loved crafting and flower arranging and entering them in the Tehama County Fair, she won many "Best of Show" ribbons. She was a lifetime member of the Miraculous Medal Guild of Montebello, CA., and the Red Bluff Garden Club, a longtime member of the Lady's Guild of Sacred Heart Church, and long time volunteer of the "Lord's Table". She was devoted to the Blessed Mother and loved spending time in prayer, she attended daily Mass, in later years being assisted by her beloved friends Bob and Doris Muerer.

Burial will be private at Tehama County Cemetery.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 10:00 AM.
