DIXON - Janice L. Hanson age 75, of Dixon, died Saturday September 14, 2019 at KSB Hospital in Dixon.
She was born May 25, 1944 in Kewanee the daughter of Lawrence and Lucille (Bumphrey) Foltz.
She had been a homemaker for Laurence Clayton for many years. Janice enjoyed crafts, crocheting and games.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son and daughter in law, Ron and Traci Hanson; one sister, Judith Housh; former husband, Ron Hanson Sr and friend Laurence Clayton.
Janice is survived by her children, Mike (Darla) Wright, Betty Hanson and Eric (Rachel) Hanson; 17 grandchildren; 25 great- grandchildren and 2 great- great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Patricia Rosenow, Loretta (Franklin) Brown and Sherry Vaughn; several nieces and nephews and special, friend Larry Wright.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Sept. 18, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy with the Rev. Rocky Fritz officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Repose Cemetery in Amboy. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
