Susannah married Hugh Brown, Jr. on 22 February 1810 in Bullitt County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Lawrence Bishop. Susannah died in October 1851 and her husband, Hugh Brown died in January 1851. Hugh Brown's grave stone can be found in Clarks Chapel Cemetery and I assume Susannah would have been buried there also.
In 1850 to 1853 there were Yellow Fever, Cholera and Influenza epidemics in Missouri. It was during this time that Hugh, Jr. his wife Susan and several of their children, Milton (1 Jul 1851), Lewis (28 Aug 1851) Catherine (1850), Melville (8 May 1852) and Elizabeth (12 Dec 1853) died. Nelson, Mary and Louisa were their children that survived the epidemics.
