Sandra Gerldine Cook, 73, of Blair, WV, departed this life on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at her residence.

She was born December 14, 1945 in Madison, WV, the daughter of the late Delvin and Laura Osborne.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband, Melvin Ray Cook, and four sisters, Betty Kay Connors, Bonnie Lane, Olita Miller and Polly Pennelton.

Sandra enjoyed cooking, going to church and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Blair Church of God.

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Roxanne Mayhorn and her husband Randy; Melvin Ray Cook Jr and his wife Julie and Timothy Scott Cook and his wife Velma; one sister, Peggy Stowers; three grandchildren, Brittni Fawn Mayhorn, Heather Holt and Joe Holt; and one great grandchild, Ava Holt.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Edsel Aleshire officiating. Burial will follow at Opperman Cemetery, Blair, WV.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
