Bruce David Green, age 58 of Welch passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019 at home after a heroic battle with cancer. Born February 22, 1961 in Welch, he was the son Leroy and Lorene Lane Green of Fort Branch and the late Clarence Mullins. He was a 1979 graduate of Pineville High School. He proudly served during Operation Desert Storm in the 12th Engineer Battalion. His life was a testimony of his faith and his love of the Lord. He fought to the end and never gave up, and trusted in God all the way. He was proceeded in death by one sister, Carol Sue Osborne and one son, Patrick Workman. In addition to his parents survivors include: his loving wife of 22 years, Melissa (Workman) Green of the home, two daughters, Heather Mullins and husband, Adam, of Bethpage, TN, Chloe Green of the home, one son, Joe Green and wife, Noel, of Hamilton, MT; one granddaughter, Mary Mullins of Bethpage, TN; two brothers, Wil Mullins of Catawba, NC, and Ray Mullins of Benson, NC; five sisters, Kari Belcher and husband, Derrick, of Fort Branch, Charle Mullins of Elliot Ward, AR, Sandy Eskins of Galion, OH, LaDonna Blaising of Luca, OH, and Jerina Mullins-Knight of Galion, OH; and great host of other family and friends. Bruce will be remembered for his faith, fight, kindness, and for being a friend to so many. His love and kindness will continue to be felt in the hearts of all who knew him. To know him was to love him. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 7:30 P.M. from the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch, WV, with Pastor Tim Akers officiating. Friends may call Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch WV.
