Tuck, (Leo) E. Carter Sr., 85, of Paris, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at the Monroe Manor nursing home in Paris, MO.
Mr. Carter was born on January 20, 1930 in Monroe County, MO., the son of William and Susie Ann Davis Carter. He married Erylene Kipper on January 30, 1955 in Paris, MO. She preceded him in death on March 28, 2003.
He is survived by 3 sons, Leo Carter of Paris, MO., Charles (Debra) Carter of Columbia, MO., and Timothy Carter of Moberly, MO., 2 daughters, Carla Carter and Peggy Carter of Columbia, MO., 14 grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter Debra Page.
Tuck served in the Army, and was a member of the AME Methodist Church and attended the Faithwalk Ministries church in Paris. He worked for over 20 years for Monroe County CO-OP, and was a member of the American Legion Post #221.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., with Minister Maurice Berry officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m., to time of service on Thursday. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Paris.
