3/31/1932 - 9/11/2019

Carolyn Jean (Craig) Fuchs, of Aurora, Indiana, quietly passed away in her sleep in the early morning hours at Ripley Crossing Wednesday, September 11, 2019. She was born March 31, 1932 the daughter of the late Warren and Flora (Kidwell) Craig. She was an Aurora resident for 44 years before she went to Milan where she lived for nearly three years.

Carolyn had several passions in life. She loved to fish and golf, and often did both with her grandchildren which they thoroughly enjoyed. She played on a bowling league for many years, and enjoyed the friendships created along the way. She enjoyed coking for her family and was especially known for her delicious macaroni and cheese. She enjoyed working outside, tending to her flowers and mowing her yard. She also enjoyed her many animals, the horses through the years, the cats, the dogs and the chickens. She loved them all, gave them names and spoke affectionately to and about each one. She also enjoyed reading in her down time, and read many of the bestselling authors' books. She loved to have fun and enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren and family, especially when she won. She enjoyed sewing as well, sewing many clothes for her family and herself, as well as curtains, and bedding and much mending and hemming for her loved ones.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Steve Fuchs (Barb Polly) of Guilford, IN, Jim (Dianne) Fuchs of Lawrenceburg, IN; 2 daughters, Jean Scharf of Cincinnati, OH, Julie (Dan) Morse of Harrison, OH; sister, Gloria Hall of Guilford, IN; 5 grandchildren, Kim, Steven, Sarah, Nathan and Grant; 6 great-grandchildren, Steven, Emily, Cody, Caleb, Zoey and Piper; and 1 great-great grandchild, Camden.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Warren Craig; mother, Flora Craig; brother, Warren Craig (Junior); sister; Doris (Craig) Howlett (Dodie); brother, James George Craig (Jim Buck); and son-in-law; Steven Scharf.
