Services in Florida for longtime Millville resident Janet Elaine Charles, age 65, of Milton, Fla., went home to be with the Lord Thursday, April 15, 2004, in Milton, Fla.
She was a native of Berwick, residing in Millville most of her life until she moved to Pensacola, Fla. in 1999.
She was a sales associate for many years, working in the Bon-Ton and J.C. Penney stores. She liked listening to country music and watching Robert Schuller on television.
Mrs. Charles is survived by two daughters: Sherry (Edward) Lamoreaux of Pace, Fla.; and Laurie (Angel) Martinez of Pensacola, Fla.; by three sons: Timothy Cope and Kevin Cope, both of Millville; and Christopher Charles of Milton, Fla.; three grandchildren: Melissa Lamoreaux, Meagan Padilla and Tristan Martinez; one greatgrandchild, Christopher Davison; one sister, Ellen J. (Ronald) Fox of Berwick; and four brothers: Howard (Marilyn) Hess, Ronald (Linda) Hess and Rodney (Joan) Hess, all of Berwick; and David (Kim) Hess of Orangeville.
Funeral services for Mrs. Charles will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2004, in the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel, Milton, Fla., with the Rev. Gerald Shelton of First United Methodist Church, Milton, officiating. Burial will be in Serenity Gardens under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home. Family will be pallbearers.
