Mary Maxine (Green) Butts
Maxine Butts, a longtime resident of Birmingham, died Saturday Sept 14th at the Trussville Health and Rehab Center.
Maxine loved to play cards and dominoes with her friends and loved watching baseball. She liked to crochet and read books. She was a volunteer at ST. Vincent Hospital. She was a member of Packard Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by Sisters Laura Dot Heady, Carmonell Winkler, Barbara Richardson, and Joann Hynds of KC, MO. Brothers Harold Green (Hope) of Tustin, CA & Bill Green (Jackie) Of KC, MO. Numerous Nieces and Nephews and a few good Friends.
Preceded in death by Husband Thomas Aubrey Butts (1917-2001), Parents John Thomas Green (1904-1967) and Vivian Burt Green (1902-1977), Sister Lavern Green Richardson (1924-1997), Brothers Dick Green and James Donald Green (1932-2006).
Visitation Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, 11am to 12 noon. Services 12 noon at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Trussville, 1591 Gadsden Hwy Birmingham Al. Interment Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
