Margie Gearldine Young affectionately known as “Gearl” was the second child born on April 4, 1944 in Bethel, North Carolina to the late Thurston Brown and the late Catherine Jenkins. On Wednesday, November 29, 2017, she peacefully transitioned from earth to glory at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York.
