Darla Mae Phillips, 21, Anderson, died June 28, 2007, at Community Hospital North, Indianapolis, after an unexpected illness.
She was born June 6, 1986, in Anderson, and resided in Anderson all of her life.
She is survived by her father, David Martin Phillips of Anderson; a daughter, Carisma Ninnie Kay Welker; a son, William Caleb James Allen Bair of Anderson; two sisters, Devan Phillips and Jama Wilbur, both of Anderson; her grandfather, Jim Phillips; aunts and uncles, Windle and wife Teresa Swallows, Elliott and wife Tina Swallows, Telma Swallows, Teresa Swallows Stone, Mary Swallows and husband Rick Cooper, Randall and wife Carol Swallows and Ronald and wife Tina Swallows; several close cousins; and many good friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ninnie Swallows Phillips; grandparents, Menzo and Della Swallows; and twin cousins, Justin Allen Swallows and Anthony James Swallows.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, with the Rev. Fred MacMillan officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the South Chapel.
