Joe Hammond Lane "Hamp", age 92, passed away on Thursday September 12, 2019. Joe was born April 22, 1927 in Paris, Texas to Will and Audie Lane.

Joe was married 65 years to Christine Lane. Joe served in the military as a marine and owned J & R Truck and Equipment. Hamp and Christine had six children and eight grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Will and Audie Lane, tow sons, Robert Lane and Darrell Lane, three brothers Willard, Clarence and Jean, three sisters Beatrice, Edith and Ruth.

Those left with cherished memories are his four children, James Lane, Jerry Lane, Linda Baggett and Ronnie Lane along with a host of other beloved family and friends who will miss him dearly.

A visitation for Joe will be held Monday, September 16, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral . A funeral service will occur Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 2:00 PM followed by a graveside service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers are Joe Baggett, Michael Baggett, Shane Lane, Robert Lane, Jesse Patino and Bruce Griffith.
