On July 31, 1948, Hattie was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Plum Rogers and was blessed with six children.
Hattie was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Rogers; three grandchildren, James, Titus, and Robin Williams; sister, Liza Mae Rhodes; and brother, James Oscar Rhodes.
Hattie leaves to cherish her memories, five daughters, Hattie R. Williams of Williamston, NC, Gertie R. Bowen of Williamston, NC, Patricia R. Williams of Hassell, NC, Annette R. Little (Olinka) of Gold Point, NC, and Theresa R. Rawls (Douglas) of Washington, NC; eleven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren; three nephews, Larry Rhodes, Jr (Judy) of Greenville, NC, William Rhodes (Falender) of Williamston, NC, and Ronnie Bennett of Maryland; two nieces, Verna M. Barr of Greenville, NC and Delsie R. Gray of Greenville, NC.
