The death took place on Sunday last of one of the oldest residents of the Lidcombe district, in the person of Mrs. Margaret Chamberlain, relict of the Iate Mr. Frederick Chamberlain. She was in her 91st year and had been bedridden for a considerable period. She passed peace fully away at the residence of her son-in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. W C. Allen; John-street, Lidcombe, and was laid to rest in the Congregational Cemetery, Rookwood, on Monday, the funeral arrangements being in the hands of W. Metcalfe and Co. A son of deceased is Mr. Walter Chamberlain, of Ann-street, and a daughter is Mrs. W. Beckmann, of John street, Lidcombe.
