Ben was born December 16, 1950 in Baton Rouge, LA the son of the late Benjamin William Anderson, Sr. and Dorothy Louise Floyd Anderson.
He worked as a Welder for a number of years and most recently worked in Security for Coca-Cola prior to his retirement. He was Baptist by faith, enjoyed playing Corn Hole and shooting his pistol. He was a United States Veteran having served in the Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, together for forty eight years, Glynda DeLaughter Anderson, children, Christy Lynn Anderson, Cumming, Alyson Anne Anderson Strickland, Villa Rica, Benjamin William Anderson III; brother, David Rhett Anderson, Denham, LA; best friend, Danny R. Mayeaux, Central, LA , extended generations.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Anjanette Anderson, sisters, Carole McMorris and Nell Anderson Caffey.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 19, 2019, 6:00 p.m. from J. Collins Funeral Home.
