Mr. Aygarn was born in North Dakota, was a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and was the widower of Elizabeth Barkley Aygarn. He was the president and owner of Aygarn Associates. A member of Episcopal Church of the Ascension, he also belonged to Lions Club International. He also served in the Armed Services.
Survivors include his granddaughter, Amy Jones of Suffolk; his niece, Lucy Aygarn, and nephew, Wilmer Aygarn, both of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is handling arrangements.
