ARNOLD, Edith L. Booher, age 83, went to be with the Lord Nov. 28, 2005, at Wellmont Hospice House.

She was born Aug. 26, 1922, in Bristol Virginia, the daughter of the late Howard and Theatta Faulkner Booher. She made her home in Bristol all her life and was a member of North Bristol Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers. Survivors include husband, Jason E. Arnold; sons, David E. Arnold, Jamey G. and wife Carolyn J. Arnold and Richard L. Arnold; grandchildren, Lisa Vanhook, Aaron Arnold, Justin Arnold, Jamey Arnold, Tracy Pope and Joey Arnold; great-grandchildren, Christopher Vanhook and Orbit Pope; brothers, Gene and Sherman Booher; special nephew, Jamey Arnold; and special niece, Thetta Snyder.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, at 7 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Roy Hull officiating. The burial will be held Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2005, at 11 a.m. in Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be friends of the family. The family wants to extend a special thanks to niece and nephew, Jamey Arnold and Thetta Snyder, and Wellmont Hospice House for all their love and support.
