Healdton - Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda "Janette" (Roberts) Watkins, 83, of Fox, are scheduled at Headlton Freewill Baptist Church. Interment will follow to Lone Grove Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.

Janette was born April 27, 1936 to the late Mr. James Lloyd Roberts and Mrs. Essie (Powell) Roberts Kilcrease. She departed from this life on Friday, September 13, 2019 at her home in Fox.

Janette was raised primarily at Clemscott attending school at Graham. She graduated as valedictorian in 1954. Janette married Mr. Richard Watkins on September 22, 1954 at Clemscott. They resided in Healdton and Graham before moving frequently all over following the oil patch. After living in Muenster, TX for 6 years, they moved to Fox where they have resided since. Janette worked some as a nurse but most of the years, she worked as an office manager for Kirkpatrick Supply/Redman in Ratliff City retiring in 1998. Janette loved music and playing the piano. She fed a lot of people and enjoyed visiting fellow church members or anyone. Janette was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church of Healdton.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Loyd and Essie; step father, J.B. "Buster" Kilcrease and by two sisters, Velma and Francis.

Janette is survived by her husband Richard of the home; sons, Richard Watkins and wife Sherry of Henrietta, TX and Roger Watkins of Fox; 4 grandchildren, Angela Brooks and husband Gregg of Henrietta, TX, Brad Watkins and wife Amy of Elk City, Lynsie Watkins of Norman and John Watkins and wife Tara of Healdton; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Dean Harmon of Norman and by a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Brad Watkins, John Watkins, Gregg Brooks, David Harmon, Mike Harmon and Terry Turner.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial donations be made to either Alpha Hospice or Healdton Freewill Baptist Church 1302 7th Street Wilson, OK 73463.
