The daughter of James T. and Sarah (Ray) Norris and former wife of Herbert A. Smith, Ida was a retired employee of the old St Joseph Infirmary. She died at Parkway Medical Center at the age of 86, and following funeral services at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, was interred at Evergreen on 2 April 1996.
