2019 Sep 2 - Cadillac - William Joe Christensen was born Tuesday 11 Mar 1952 in Cadillac to Alfred & Rosie (Pontiac) Big Joe. He was later raised by his parents, Jack William & Helen (Nelson) Christensen. He was a graduate of Cadillac High School class of 1970. He entered into marriage with Julia Susan Hall In 1977, the couple later started a family of their own. He worked for Harborview for many years until his most recent job at Shoreline Container in Traverse City. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a proud member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.

William Joe 'Billy' Christensen I, of Cadillac, died Monday 2 Sep 2019 at the age of 67 y 5 m 22 d in Cadillac. Survivors included 1 daughter; 1 son; 1 sister; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his his lived with parents, Jack 21 Oct 2011 & Helen 18 Nov 2013; parents; his biological parents, Alfred & Rosie; and 1 daughter, Jill Marie Christensen.

Visitation was 12-1 pm Friday 20 Sep 2019 at Northern Light Church at 115 Cobb St in Cadillac. A remembrance service was 1 pm Friday 20 Sep 2019 at Northern Light Church with Pastor Tad Mellish officiating. A luncheon followed.
