Reed Hansen Page, 75, passed away at his home on Wednesday, September 7, 2000.

Born August 28, 1925 at West Point, Utah to Delora and Eugene Page. Married Betty Call May 1, 1959 and were later divorced. Married Lucile Page August 6, 1976 in the Salt Lake Temple.

A graduate of BYU, Reed loved sports and was an avid BYU fan. He had the distinction of naming the Cougar Club and was an active member all of his life. He was a member of the Exchange Club. In his youth he won a Silver medal in the Deseret News Junior Pentathlon. He lived valiantly with the devastating efforts of polio from age 14. In 1955 he opened his own Insurance Agency and continued working until his death. He was active in the LDS Church. He served as Elder Quorum secretary, Cub Scout Master, executive secretary, and Sacrament Meeting chairman.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 11, 2000 at 11 am at the LDS Parley's 2nd Ward, 1870 Parley's Canyon Blvd., Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-7:30 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, and at the ward Monday one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at the Plain City, Utah Cemetery.
