Arlene D. Chapman Weaver, 94 of Tillar, Arkansas passed away September 12, 2019 in Monticello. She was born November 5, 1924 in Clarksville, Arkansas and was the daughter of the late John Oscar Standridge and Hettie Pearson Standridge. Her parents and husbands, Bedford Chapman and Delbert Weaver, 6 brothers and 3 sisters all preceded her in death.
Arlene was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Tillar, Jefferson Community Friends Club and a retired seamstress.
Survivors are her son, Brian Chapman and wife, Vickie of Tillar, Arkansas and daughter Charlotte Maynard of Sherwood, Arkansas and daughter, Rita Lee and husband, Jackie of Batesville, Arkansas and two stepchildren, Margie Higgins of Texarkana, Arkansas and Lawrence Weaver of Texas, 4 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Family will greet friends during visitation from 10 AM until 11 AM on September 14, 2019, followed by funeral services at 11 AM both held at Griffin Funeral Home with Dr. Tandy Hanson officiating and burial Jefferson Cemetery.
