Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. John's Lutheran Church, Rock Island, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Estates.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Esterdahl Mortuary, Moline.
Matilda Buhrman was born in Moline and married Ben Thomas in 1911 in Highland.
She was a past president of the Moline Firefighters Auxiliary and of Mothers of World War II.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Estelle Thornbloom, Moline, Mrs. Mildred Ahrens and Mrs. Dorothy Abert. both of Livermore, Calif., a son, Ben B. Thomas, Rock Island, with whom she lived, nine grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. M. Ettinger, Taylorville, Mrs. Nora Votrain, Edwardsville, and Mrs. Willard Breathwait, Bentonville, Ark. and a brother, Edward Buhrman, Williamina, Ore.
