Mildred E. (Shipman) Lewis, 88, of Round Lake, IL, formerly of the Fountain Green/Webster, IL communities, passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday, Sept. 13, 2019 after a long bout with Alzheimer's.
She was born January 26, 1931 in Fountain Green, IL the daughter of Margie M. And Cecil A. Shipman, Sr., the eldest of seven children. On August 14, 1955 she married Marion Lewis at the Christian Church in LaHarpe, IL.
Mildred was a loving and caring mother and grandmother, blessed with a serving heart, joyful attitude and always putting the needs of her family ahead of her own. She is revered by her brothers and sisters who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Marion, her brother, Carl, her brother-in-law, Vernon and her sister-in-law, Jeannie.
