Brenda Lea McNabb, 34. of 505 Minnesota died 1:30 p.m. Oct. 16, 1998, as a result of an auto accident. She was born on Nov. 7, 1963, in Ottumwa to Tom and Doris Eakins Lathrop. She was a student at Indian Hills Community College. She is survived by her mother, Doris Lathrop of Ottumwa; her father and stepmother, Tom and Betty Lathrop of Ottumwa; a son, Cray McNabb of Ottumwa; three sisters, Connie Lathrop, Sherry Penniston and Theresa Young, all of Ottumwa; two half sisters, Teila Thompson of Bloomfield; and Sheanna Lathrop of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lloyd and Nancy Eakins; and Gilbert and Violet Lathrop. The services will be held I p.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home, the Revs. Alma Lanferman and Loyd Osborn officiating. Cremation will follow services. Internment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
