Born April 6, 1945, in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Susan T. (Cifelli) Hoffman and the late James Hill. She was also the step-daughter of the late Ralph W. Hoffman, Jr. She was a 1963 graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School of Norristown, PA, and attended Gwynedd Mercy University of Gwynedd Valley, PA.
Mrs. Foley was an elementary school teacher for Holy Savior Parish in Norristown, PA, and for St. Titus Parish in East Norriton, PA. She served as an independent contractor for Colonial Craft Furnishings, Shiseido, Inc., Lancome, Inc., and Givenchy, Inc. She also worked as a sales and training consultant for Clarins, Inc.
Mrs. Foley was of the catholic faith and was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Hatfield, PA. She enjoyed spending time gardening and flower arranging, was an avid reader, and loved traveling extensively with her husband.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Mark F. Foley, Jr. and his wife, Beth M., of Los Angeles, CA; a daughter, Eileen L. Foley-Breck and her husband, Michael C. Breck, of Ijamsville, MD; and a grandson, Alexander M. Breck, of Ijamsville, MD. She is also survived by a brother, Ralph W. Hoffman, III, and his wife, Marie, of Lansdale, PA. She was preceded in death by a son, Matthew James Foley, and by her parents-in-law, James J. and Marie Foley.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her prayer service at 11am on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc., 667 Harleysville Pike, Telford (Franconia Twp.), PA, where family will receive friends from 9:30-10:45am. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.
