Mr. Stone was born March 16, 1936, in Midway, LA, to the parentage of Walter W. and Ida May Owens Stone.

He served his country in the U.S. Air Force, where he was stationed in France. He met and later married Catherina Elizabeth Wilhelmina de Haer in Luxembourg. He had a successful career in management, in the copier business, highlighted by his long tenure at XEROX Corporation. He attended Lake Country Bible Church in Mineola, TX prior to moving to Irving.

Survivors include: Son: Dennis Walter William Stone, and wife, Patricia Sue of Plano Grandchildren: Stephanie Rebecca Houser ; and, Lauren Duffy Powell Great-grandchildren: Aubrey Frances Houser; Lukas Stone Houser; and Sonny Stone Powell As well as, nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.
