Anna Jane Woods
1931 - 2019

Anna Jane Woods, 88 of Bedford, passed away Thursday evening, September 12, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 15, 1931 in Wellington, Texas to the late Wade "Moe" Clement and Vida Clement.

Anna lived in Wellington, Texas and moved to Amarillo to start her career at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company as an operator after graduating from Wellington High School with the Class of 1948. She married Bob Woods when she was 22 years old. Anna retired at age 55 and moved to Clarendon, Texas (Greenbelt Lake), so she and Bobby could retire doing the thing they loved.

Anna loved to dance and entertain, but most of all she loved her family with every beat of her heart. She is going to be greatly missed by all who knew her and cherished her, just like she did us.

She is survived by her children, Jana McNeely, Dennis Woods and Sandra Woods; her grandchildren, Paul Newby, Anne Dillard, Daniel McNeely, Bobby Woods, Mariana Fowler, Drew Woods and all the spouses, especially Coby Dillard, who became so important to her these last few years; her great grandchildren, Nathan Newby, Bailey Woods, (US Navy, deployed at time of her death), Frankie Dillard, Corwin Newby, William Finn McNeely, Caleb Reynolds, Aiden Reynolds, Johnny Potter, Lachlan Fowler, Jordyn Fowler and Camdyn Fowler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Woods; her brothers, Tipton Miller, Wade Clement and Johnny Clement; her mother and father, Vida and Wade "Moe" Clement; and also by her granddaughter, Heather Reynolds.

Memorial services will be held for Anna at a later date.
