Karen Marie Sullivan, (Reister) age 69, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Sullivan; parents Herbert and Lucy Reister; and siblings Paul Reister and Jeff Reister.
She will be lovingly missed by her children Brian (Dawn) Marz and Andrea Marz (Dave Poortvliet); grandchildren Dakota and Keira; siblings Sharon VandenBerg, Thomas (Shirley) Reister and Joyce Reister; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Karen enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved animals, especially her dogs, as well as plants, flowers, fishing, golfing and being outdoors. Some of her favorite sayings were: "Peachy Dandy, I’m fine and I’d forget my head if it wasn’t attached." Karen will be dearly missed by family and friends.
A Memorial Visitation with the family will be held from 6 - 8 p.m., with a time of remembrance starting at 7 p.m., on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie, S.W., Grandville, MI 49418.
In honor of Karen and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Spectrum Health Foundation (Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion).
