Mr. Tommy Allen Parker, 85, of Big Creek, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019, in Grenada. He was born February 11, 1934, in Big Creek to Tom Hill and Imogene Walton Parker. He retired after working many years as a truck driver for Binswanger Mirror in Grenada, and was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church. He could always be found with a smile on his face and an outstretched hand willing to help anyone in need.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Big Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Vance and Rev. Chris Conlee officiating. Interment will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery at Big Creek. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time Saturday at the church.

Survivors include two daughters, Gail McKibben and her husband, Mike of Bruce, Jessica Ward of Sand Hill; two sons, Anthony Allen “Tony” Parker and his wife, Pam of Calhoun City and Jesse Parker and his wife, Amy of Bruce; one sister, Linda Wright of Corinth; one brother, Charles Parker and his wife, Sandra of Coffeeville; seven grandchildren, Dusty McKibben and his wife, Randye, Katie Parker, Luke Parker, Taylor Parker, Emma Ward, Parker Ward and Ethan Parker; and one great-grandchild, Molly Kate McKibben.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Cordelia Parker; one sister, Nancy Gosa and a brother, Alfred Parker.

Pallbearers will be Mike Gosa, Brent Parker, Gary Parker, Kent Parker, Steve Parker and Jason Wright.

Arrangements have been entrusted to McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada, Mississippi.
