Roy Duane Baylor "R.D.", 67, of Palmyra, Indiana passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 11, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born October 30,1951 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Harley Edwin and Ruby Pauline (Ems) Baylor.
Roy married Julia (McCracken) Baylor on August 27, 1988. He worked and retired from Wal-Mart as a truck driver. Roy was a member of Palmyra United Methodist Church. He Enjoyed detailing cars and spending time with his family.
Roy is Preceded in death by his Parents.
Roy is Survived by his wife Julia (McCracken) Baylor, three daughters Melody Wrenn, Amanda Fritz and Anna Marrs (Adam), a brother Jerry Baylor (Brenda) as well as five grandchildren Nick Marrs, Noah Marrs, Abbygale Marrs, Neven Marrs and Adalyn Marrs.
Funeral services will be Monday, September 16, 2019 at 12:00pm . Interment will follow in the Palmyra Cemetery in Palmyra, Indiana. Visitation will be Monday, September 16, 2019 from 9am to 12pm. Published in Clarion News, September 25, 2019 Page A 3.
