She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1939 and remained faithful to her God until her death.
Surviving are three sons, Matt Huerth (Becky) of Rice Lake, WI, Bradley Huerth (Cindy) of Rialto, CA and Richard Huerth (Debbie) of Elk Mound, WI; two sisters, Evelyn Hauck of Rice Lake, WI and Mardell Brunette of Wausau, WI; one brother, Donald Stodola of Chippewa Falls, WI; 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forest “Bud” Huerth; her parents, Adolph Sr. and Carrie Stodola; 7 brothers, Alfred Dostal, Adolph Stodola Jr., Theodore Stodola, Herman Stodola, Victor Stodola, Richard Stodola and Ira Stodola; 3 sisters, Irene Poulter, Loretta Glessing and Jean Lindgren.
In accordance with Dorothy’s wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Appleyard's Home for Funerals, 19 W. Messenger St., Rice Lake, WI. Private family services will be held.
