KITTRELL — Ruth Blacknall Hicks, 95, of 1327 North Chavis Road, Kittrell, died Aug. 31, 2019, at her residence. She was born in Vance County to Hillard and Marjorie Link Blacknall.
A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Greater Ransom Way of the Cross Temple. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and all other times at 1528 Glover St., Apt. A.
Survivors include her children, 22 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from noon to 5:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel and at the church prior to the service.
Arrangements are by Davis-Royster Funeral Service.
