Deborah A. Melton, 58, Nineveh, Indiana, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ September 7, 2019. She was born on December 2, 1960 in Jackson, Michigan to Linda Gardner.
She married Keith Melton on November 1, and he survives. Other survivors include son, Jacob Melton (Jenny) and Isaac Melton, both of Nineveh; daughter, Ashley Carson (Zach) of Nineveh; grandchildren, Brianna, Abigail, Lucas, and William; her twin brother, Dennis Gardner (Lisa) of Carmel, Indiana and brother, Kurt Gardner of Carmel; and sister, Tiki Twiehaus of Noblesville, Indiana. She was preceded her in death by her parents.
She attended Fair Haven Christian Church in Franklin, Indiana. She was a strong believer in Christ and valued her time at home, caring for her husband and children. She was the strongest, most selfless, loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She never met a task too challenging to try. She was an honest and frugal soul who could see value in anyone and anything. She will be missed greatly by so many and we will see her in Heaven some day.
Pastor Dale Holzbauer will conduct a service at 2:00 p.m. September 14, 2019 at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, Indiana, where friends may call from 12:00 noon until service time at the mortuary. Burial will follow in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Mt. Auburn, Shelby County, Indiana.
