He was called "Pee-Wee" as a child. James Sr. was a strong-willed man raised in Melrose Apartments. James Ta'bor Sr. was very patriotic always flying the American Flag over his doorstep. He was a proud Air Force Veteran who worked in the Medical Field as a Phlebotomist while actively participating in the birth of his two sons. He was a well- traveled man. He has travelled to the Philippines, Korea, Germany, to Mississippi, Texas, and California. Out of all the places he traveled, nothing appeased him more than being at home in Hall County. James Matthew Ta'bor Sr. was a father, a best friend, a husband, a veteran and most of all a man of God.
He is survived by five children: three daughters, two sons; four siblings, three brothers, one sister and a host of other relatives and friends.
