CHILLICOTHE - M. Alice Boehle, 89, of 21901 N. Boehle Lane, formerly of Peoria, died at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.

Born Aug. 25, 1912, in Louisville, Ky., to Joseph and Mary Duvall Brown, she married Russell Wilkins on Oct. 21, 1939, in Peoria. He died Dec. 14, 1954. She married Joseph A. Boehle on May 30, 1962, in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving is one sister, Nellie Thenikl of Arcadia, Fla.

She was also preceded in death by her brother James in 1993 and an infant brother in 1922.

She worked for Bemis Bag Co. in Peoria for many years and later worked for Proctor Endowment Home in Peoria before retiring.

She was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church in Chillicothe, where a funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Joseph Hogan will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Weber-Hurd Funeral Home, with recitation of the rosary at 7:30 p.m. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria.

Memorials may be made to her church building fund or any charity.
