Nellie Ruth Carr, 81, of Spotsylvania County passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Carr was the widow of Julian W. Carr.
Survivors include her son, Stephen Carr who has been a UPS driver for 32 years, and wife, Mary F. Carr; grandson Jason Carr; brothers Jasper, Pete and Darrell; sisters Cynthia, Sharon, and Zelda; sister-in-law Angie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 21 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A service will be held at noon on Friday, September 22 at the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
