I posted yesterday that my "Beloved soul mate," James Robert Sheppard Jr was going to the doctor to plan the next step on his long, long journey called mortal life. Sometime early today Jim's earthly llfe ended and he was welcomed home by the God and Savior he proclaimed in faith and practice for over 63+ Years. There will be a Committal service this Thursday morning (9-12-2019} at 11:00 am at the Mesquite Cemetery. Everyone is welcome. Later this month there will be " A Service of Witness to the Resurrection" in loving memory of Jim at First Presbyterian Church, Mesquite,Texas. More info to follow.
At our weddding 6-18-1953 yep! 66 years ago, we had the song" I'll walk beside you----."
