Douglas R. Morgan, age 45, of 206 Church St., St. Nazianz died on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at his home.

He was born on March 3, 1969 in Manitowoc, son of Robert and Rose (Mrotek) Morgan. He married Amy Friedenberger on February 14, 1998 in Reedsville. He worked at Sargento Foods in Kiel and the Brillion Iron Works. Doug loved to hunt, ice fish and take trips up north. He was a member of the Viking Bow and Gun Club.

Survivors include his wife, Amy; a daughter, Angelica Rutkausas of Newton, a son, Troy Morgan at home; a grandson, Luke, his parents, Robert and Rose Morgan of Reedsville; 3 sisters, Kaye (Ron) Habermann of Collins, Sheila Robley of Manitowoc, Patricia (Jason) Wolcott of Michigan, a brother, Steven Morgan of Reedsville; his father-in-law and mother-in-law James and Shirley Friedenberger of Reedsville; grandmother-in-law, Leona Preston of Manitowoc; sister-in-law, Jessie (Mike) Junk of Reedsville and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mildred and Lester Dehne and Betty and Edward Mrotek, grandfather-in-law, Francis Preston and brother-in-law, Eric Friedenberger.

A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, June 18, at 11:00 am at the Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville. Father Timothy Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery, Reedsville. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville on Wednesday from 9:00 am - 10:30 am with the prayer service to follow at 11:00 am.
