DONALD R. BARNARD

Donald R. Barnard, age 70, of the Reedsville Manor, 431 Madison St., Reedsville, passed away on June 13, 2003 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc.

He was born June 18, 1932, in Reedsville, son of the late George "Dolly" and Tess (Brick) Barnard. He married Janet Ramminger on June 20, 1959 in Kiel. Donald was a truck driver for the Texaco Company and was the owner and operator of "Jan & Bro's Tavern" in Reedsville until his retirement. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and attended Holy Family Parish.

Donald is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael (Debra) Barnard of Slinger and Robert Barnard of Reedsville; eight grandchildren: Christopher, Joshua, Taylor, Cassie, Brooke, Payge, Michael and Tanner; a niece, Mary (Joe) Levash of Brillion; special friend of the family, Cheryl Dorn and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet on February 12, 1996, a twin sister and brother-in-law, Donna (Tom) McDonough.

Funeral mass will be at 11 on Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at Holy Family Parish in Brillion with the Rev. Tom Long officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery in Reedsville from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday, June 17, and then at the church on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of service.
