Faye Pryor Gardner

Graveside services for Mrs. Faye Pryor Gardner, 84, Chattanooga, formerly of Smyrna, who died Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Life Care Center in Chattanooga, are set for 11 a.m. Friday in Mapleview Cemetery, Smyrna, with Ronnie Missildine officiating.

A native of Tyler County, W. Va., her parents were the late Roy and Delia Miller Pryor, and her husband was the late Lawrence J. Gardner, who died in 1991.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Morgan of Chattanooga, Peggy Bowers of Athens, Ohio; brother, Kester Pryor of North Ft. Myers, Fla.; sister, Leona Huffman of Paden City, W. Va.; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Brainerd Church of Christ.

Memorials may be made to Boyd-Buchanan School or to Martin Boyd Christian Center in Chattanooga.

Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
